This glove knitting pattern is to make your own fingerless mitts and is the perfect weekend make for a knitter familiar with the basic cast-on, cast-off and knit and purl stitches.

You will need:
60 metres chunky yarn (note: I use a chunky wool which is usually knitted on 10mm needles for this pattern to ensure the gloves fit nice and snug)
One pair of 8mm needles for both styles of glove. If you are making the stocking stitch mitts you will also need one pair of 7.5mm needles
Wool needle.
